Do you miss the old way of searching in Win2K? With WinXP, you have to go through multiple clicks to get to the search menu you want, which 99% of the time is for “all files and folders”. Try this:
Choose Start –> Search.
When Rover appears, click Change Preferences.
Click Change Files and Folders Search Behavior.
Check the button marked Advanced, and click OK.
The next time you bring up Windows Search, you’ll be able to type in your file or folder name (with or without wildcards), hit Enter, and the search kicks in immediately. [Comment on this Post]
