Star Telegram: “Ending 12 years of ungodly bickering, school trustees voted 4-1 on Sept. 2 not to change Dibble’s 53-year-old mascot. Some parents had called the school’s cartoon devil emblem an insult to Christianity.

In an ironic twist on the current Alabama rampage, some critics also called the Dibble Demon unconstitutional. If a judge can’t legally promote the Ten Commandments, they said, then a school district should not be allowed to promote a goofy blue devil.”

Wouldn’t a “goofy blue devil” be an insult to Satanism?
