In-N-Out Burger is a hamburger chain on the West Coast that is always packed - I mean packed - and servers up fresh, almost healthy fast food. Unfortunately if you take a close look at the various food wrappers you will find hidden Bible quotes. Ever wonder what the little bible quotes sublty printed on the In-N-Out paper packaging mean? Let’s investigate:
REVELATION 3:20 (burger and cheeseburger wrappers): Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
JOHN 3:16 (soda cups): For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
PROVERBS 3:5 (milkshake cups): Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
NAHUM 1:7 (Double-Double wrapper): The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.
JOHN 14:6 (H20 cups): Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
For Christ’s sake - I want a cheeseburger not a bible study. I stopped eating at In-N-Out because of this and I’m somewhat upset about it because this is really the only fast food I ate. Anyone else have an experience with businesses pushing their religion overtly or covertly? I know Alaska Airlines gives you pretty little bible quote/scenic vista cards with your dinner. I won’t fly Alaskan now either.
