Quebec Lawyer Christian Gauthier was referred for disciplinary investigation because, while defending a client accused of killing a police officer, he was overheard singing the Bob Marley song “I Shot the Sheriff” during a courtroom break.

And a Florida State woman surfaced as one of only a handful of people ever to be diagnosed with Foreign Accent Syndrome, a brain malfunction that in this case produced a British accent, out of nowhere. Thse cause of Madonna’s recent acquisition of a British accent is still under investigation. So to recap: brain malfunctions cause British accents. Hmm.
