Great idea, the problem was actually finding LED lights, seems like everyone bought out Targets stock this year, they had a ton of the older lights, but few if any of the newer LEDs, and I think marketing wasn’t doing a very good job of explaining why LEDs are superior. I got a string and hung them outside my apt, I like them a lot, they look good, but the wire is really thin. I assume due to the lower wattage the company (Phillips) went with a higher gauge wire (thiner), not sure if it’s less durable, but you can wrap the wires around things easily and it looks great. not sure if I can get them off as easily, but we’ll see in a day or so.
