And million is spelled m-i-l-l-i-o-n.” And, after once receiving $1M in stocks from a worshiper: “I didn’t have that [gift] for five minutes and I said, ‘OK, God, next I’ll take $5 million.” “Fear,” she says, as in fear of giving her money, “is the work of the devil.” But anyway, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is all over her almost every day lately for various internal problems and IRS chases.
There was a shootout in Aurora, Ill., on December 5. Police aren’t sure how it went down, exactly, but here’s what they do know: 1 man was at home; 3 men broke in; there was a gunfight; the 3 men fled; the 3 men were arrested a few minutes later, each with gunshot wounds; the guy in the home was wounded but never got off a shot, himself. Conclusion: In their frenzy to get the guy at home, Kevin House, 31, Patrick Dawkins, 32, and Kenneth I. Powell, 30, shot each other.
